About JDES
Shri Jawaharlal Darda Education Society, Yavatmal was established in 1991 under the leadership of Dr. Vijay Darda, Founder President of JDES, Charman, Lokmat Media Group and Member of Parliament, Rajya Sabha (1998-2016). The institute is named after Late Jawaharlal Darda alias “Babuji”, who was a great freedom fighter, statesman and editor.
Aim of the Society is to spread knowledge and provide education in the field of Engineering, Agriculture, Horticulture, Science, Commerce, Arts, Sports, Fine Arts and Computers. Society is committed for dissemination of knowledge by providing education through developing and running Institutes, Colleges and Schools.
Presently institutes run by the Society are Yavatmal Public School, Veenadevi Darda School and Jawaharlal Darda Institute of Engineering and Technology, Yavatmal.
JDES was established to provide quality education to the deprived students of Yavatmal region. Society created Institutes with best infrastructure facilities and teachers. Society has educated thousands of students and made them successful in their life.
