Abstract: AN APPARATUS FOR PLANT EXTRACTION The present invention relates to an improved plant extraction unit by utilizing steam distillation process. The object of the proposed invention is to provideplant extraction unitutilizing steam distillation sep aration process which consists of distilling water together with other volatile and non-volatile components. The steam from the boiling water carries the vapor of the volatiles to a condenser, where both are cooled and return to the liquid or solid state; while the n on-volatile residues remain behind in the boiling container. Steam distillation can be used when the boiling point of the substance to be extracted is higher than that of water, and the starting material cannot be heated to that temperature because of decomposition or othe r unwanted reactions. It may also be useful when the amount of the desired substance is small compared to that of the non-volatile residues. It is often used to separate volatile essential oils from plant material. Following invention isdescribed in detail with the help of Figure 1 of sheet 1 showing basic diagram of proposed invention.

Abstract: Reverse Osmosis is a membrane-based process technology to purify water by separating the dissolved solids from feed stream resulting in permeate and reject stream for a wide range of applications in domestic as well as industrial applications. It is seen from the literature review that Reverse Osmosis technology is used to remove dissolved solids, colour, organic contaminants, and nitrate from the feed stream. Hence Reverse Osmosis technology used in the treatment of water and hazardous waste, separation processes in the food, beverage and paper industry, as well as recovery of organic and inorganic materials from chemical processes as an alternative method. This Agglomeration Water (AW) Technology intends to provide an overall vision of Reverse Osmosis technology as an alternative method for treating wastewater in different Industrial applications. The present short review shows the applicability of Reverse Osmosis system for treating effluents from the beverage industry; distillery spent wash, groundwater treatment, recovery of phenol compounds, and reclamation of wastewater and seawater reverse osmosis treatment indicating efficiency and applicability of Reverse Osmosis technology. In these purification techniques, too much water is wasted. To avoid this wastage of water, we have developed this gadget. It would reduce the wastage of water from the cleaner.

3)Prof. ANIL SUDHAKARRAO PARLIKAR
Abstract: My Invention SOIL CONSOLIDATION USING DISTILLED WATER AND SEA WATER is a civil engineering structures need to have longer life. Therefore, they are constructed on strong foundations. However, the problem of settlemen t of foundation creates danger to the structural stability. Apart from other ways, one way to control the settlement of the soil on which foundation rests is to check it for consolidation. The quality of water in contact with the soil affects the consolidation of soil. The Machalipatnam sea water and Mumbai sea water show more dissolved gases. These water samples found less viscous than distilled water. The sea water samples shown more volume changes of soil sample than the distilled water. The Machalipatnam sea water and Mumbai sea water shown 121.12% and 103.3% volume change of soil sample as compared to 100% volume change of soil sample using distilled water at 981kN/m2. Hence, quality of water should be given due importance in consolidation analysis.

4)Mr.Atul Kumbhar
Abstract: The present invention is related to the extraction and development of an eco-friendly fiber from a plant canna indica which is useful in production of textile, geo-textile and nonwoven products instead of use of synthetic polymer fibers. The natural textile fiber proposed in the given invention is extracted from the stem of a plant known as canna indica which is easily available in large quantity in the tropical and subtropical areas like Indian subcontinent. This is a wild plant and hence grows near spoil banks, dumped areas and near water resources without any cultivation and maintenance of plants. The extraction and development of fibers from the stem of canna indica plant is easy and contains several processes like cutting, water retting, hand stripping, drying, combing, testing etc. which provides strong bast natural fibers. After testing it is found that, obtained plant fibers has very good properties required for textile production like tensile strength, moisture contained, fineness and tenacity compare to other plant fibers. Hence ecologically sustainable natural fiber proposed in the given invention is useful to produce many biodegradable textiles, geo-textile products such as door mats, covers, furnishing fabric and nonwoven fabrics. The given plant fiber has excellent healing power and medical properties which makes it useful in the production of different kind of medical products like napkins and bandages. Hence the proposed natural fiber extracted from plant canna indica is useful to replace synthetic fibers in textile industry which reduces hazard to the environment as well as human health on a great extent.

Title of the Invention: HEAT TRANSFER CHARACTERISTICS OF HIGH PRESSURE GAS IN AN AUGMENTED HEAT EXCHANGER
Name of Applicants:

Name of Inventors:
1)DR.SAGAR SURYAKANT GADDAMWAR
Abstract: The heat transfer performance of syngas cooler affects the efficiency of the power generating system with integrated coal gasification combined cycle (1GCC) directly, it is important to obtain the heat transfer characteristics of high-pressure syngas in the cooler. Heat transfer in convection cooling section of pressurized coal gasifier with the membrane helical coils and membrane serpentine tubes under high pressure is experimentally investigated. High pressure single gas (He or N2) and their mixture (He + N2)gas serve as the test media in the test pressure range from 2.5 Kg/cm2 to 10 Kg/cm2. The results show that the convection heat transfer coefficient of high pressure gas is influenced by the working pressure, gas composition and symmetry of How around the coil, of which the working pressure is the most significant factor. The average convection heat transfer coefficients for various gases in heat exchangers are systematically analyzed. The heat transfer coefficient of heat exchanger with membrane helical coils is greater than that of the membrane serpentine-tube heat exchanger under the same conditions. The heat transfer coefficient increment of the membrane helical- coil heat exchanger is greater than that of the membrane serpentine-tube heat exchanger with the increase of gas pressure and velocity. In Indian Coal mines, underground mines, mineral ore mines syngases at high pressure and high temperature are found in large quantities. This syngas is highly toxic, harmful and flammable gas which will be present in atmosphere which may cause many accidents. Hence it is necessary to reduce the content of syngas from mines in the atmosphere with the help of the heat exchanger with membrane helical coil and membrane serpentine tubes. So this work will be useful for those who are working in the field of coal mine, underground mines and mineral ore mines.
