| The JDIET library is stocked with a good number of books and online journals to cater to the needs of the students, research scholars and faculty members. Central library gives support to the educational & research programs of the Institute by providing physical & intellectual access to information. The Library currently has 52700 printed volumes of Books and subscribes the DELNET e-journal packages through which the users can get access to 148 journals. It consists of Reference Section, Journal Section, Reading Hall, Digital library section, Stack-Room, Reprography Section, and Technical Section etc. The library has unique collection of Encyclopaedia, Handbooks, Textbooks, Project Reports and educational CDs. The library is Wi-Fi enabled so users can access online resources in their electronic devices i.e. laptops, tablets etc. The library has a spacious and well furnished reading room, so that the students can concentrate their entire focus on learning and reading. Library automation is being implemented through CAS (College Administration Software). All major activities and services (i.e. acquisition, circulation, OPAC, reservation of book/s etc.) of the library is provided to the users through the library module of CAS. |
