Programme Educational Objective (PEO)
PEO1 - To prepare the students for fulfilling the technical man power need of chemical engineering sector locally and globally.
PEO2 - To develop an ability of applying mathematical, scientific and technical concepts for solving problems in chemical engineering and its allied sectors.
PEO3 - To prepare students with scientific multi-disciplinary approach to develop cutting edge chemical technology/ products, through contemporary research for supporting the changing needs.
PEO4 -To provide students with academic environment focusing on perusing lifelong learning in the area of chemical, environmental, energy, economics & management.
PEO5 - To provide students with regular opportunities to work in team by organizing co-curricular activities in view to develop communication skill, leadership, entrepreneurship with moral ethics and social values.
Programme Outcome (POs)
Chemical engineering graduates will have:
PO1 – Ability to understand various processes involved in chemical process manufacturing.
PO2 - Ability to apply knowledge of mathematics, science and engineering concepts.
PO3 - Ability to handle operating chemical engineering technologies in their concerned work domain.
PO4 – Ability to design & conduct experiments as well as to analyses and interpret data in chemical engineering fields.
PO5 - Ability to identify, analyse & solve chemical engineering & technology related problems.
PO6 - Ability to design and develop logics, components, products, processes, with in boundary constraints as changing needs in advancements.
PO7 - Undertake research in multidisciplinary areas.
PO8 - Understanding of their professional duties with ethics.
PO9 – Ability to communicate effectively both in verbal and nonverbal forms.
PO10 – Understanding and critical thinking regarding impact of environmental sector issues in local and global economy and eventually on society.
PO10 – Vision regarding the essentiality of lifelong learning in view to abreast with developments in the field of engineering and technology.
PO12 - Able to learn and use modern technology, computational skills and latest Engineering tools necessary for chemical engineering processes.
Programme Specific Outcome (PSO)
After successful completion of the program, Chemical engineering graduates will be able to:
PSO1- Students completing this programme will have a remarkable chemical engineering
ability in order to exploit the higher employment scenario in this field.
PSO2- Students completing this programme will have a special ability to work effectively in
the field of chemical technology in situ with environmental, energy, economics &
management understanding.
PSO3- Students completing this programme will have an ability to become an entrepreneur
in order to establish their chemical industry businesses.
