About Department

Computer Science and Engineering Department was established in 1999 with a modest strength of 40 students. Over the years it has established itself into a separate department with strength of 60 students. The Department has got accredited by National Board of Accreditation, New Delhi for three years with effect from February 2009. The department with the passage of its evolution and growth has succeeded in creating its place of excellence. It has been attracting bright students from all parts of the country for quality education in computer science and engineering at under graduate level. During the course of time it has offered opportunities to its inmates in the area of quality education, research in pursuance of a long cherished mission of the department.

The computer Science and Engineering Department offers courses leading to a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science and Engineering. In future it will also offer a Master of Computer Science and Engineering and Master of Computer Application (M.C.A.) degrees. The department has qualified and experienced faculty members in the areas of Computer Architecture, Database Systems, Image Processing, Artificial Intelligence, Data Mining, Wireless & Sensor Networks, Computer Networks, Internet Technology, Modeling & Simulation and Software Engineering as well as core Computer Science & Engineering. There is widespread interaction between the Computer Science and Engineering Department and various other departments like Information Technology & Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering in the field of teaching and research.

Department has well equipped laboratories with different operating environments with almost all the software, so that students get a complete idea about various stepping of computers development. In addition to this, for the benefits of students, department launches various software courses for students of all branches. Free access to computer laboratories and High Speed Internet is provided to students so that they can understand and use the globalization of computers. Our best aspect is that, we teach students how to use their talent to get their bright and desired future. The Department is having Student Branch of Computer Society of India and running PACE (Pioneer Association of Computer Engineers), which to give exposure to students hidden facts & help them for their overall personality development.
